Getting to Nozawa Onsen ski resort is easy with Deep Powder Tours Snow Holidays! We offer arrival and departure transfer options seven days a week to and from Narita airport to Nagano and then on to Nozawa ski resort. This includes both train transfers, as well as private transfers.
Train travel
There are a couple of options for travelling from Narita or Haneda in Tokyo to Nagano (the gateway to ski resorts: Hakuba, Nozawa, Shiga Kogen & Myoko Kogen). Train travel can be arranged via;
– JR Rail Passes
– Paid locally Shinkansen (bullet train) to and from Tokyo
A 1 hour transfer is available from Nagano to Nozawa Onsen. Alternatively, catch to the train on to Iiyama with a 25 minute bus transfer or taxi to Nozawa Onsen.

Providing professional ski and snowboard lessons with instructors from all over the world for children from 3 years through to adults. Group and private lessons available for all skiing and riding abilities. Located at the base of the Hikage Ski Centre.
Adult Group Lessons – designed to fine tune techniques with other skiers and riders of similar ability, maximum of 8 in a group. Lessons commence at 10am for 4.5hours or 2.5hours.
Kids 7-14 yrs Group Lessons – are groups of up to 8. Full day lessons 10am-3:45pm include lunch. A 2.5hour morning lesson is also available.
Infants 4-6 Group Lessons – are for skiers only with a maximum of 4 per group. Full day lessons 10am-3:45pm include lunch. A 2.5 hour morning lesson is also available.
Private lessons – available for 2, 3 and 5 hours, morning or afternoon sessions for 3 years old and up.
Backcountry Tours – professional English speaking mountain guides safely guide you around Nozawa’s backcountry. Group sizes small to maximize the riding time and freshies! Full day tour.
