Niseko Ski Resort is located on Japan’s north island, Hokkaido, and is just a 100 klm by road from from Chitose (Sapporo’s) airport.
Niseko is Japan’s most famous ski resort and is widely considered as one of the top 10 international ski resorts in the world.
Niseko comprises 4 interlinked resorts: Hanazono, Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village (Higashiyama) and Annupuri. Niseko delivers a phenomenal annual snowfall of 14+ metres of the driest powder snow on earth, and caters exceptionally well for all ability levels.
The main village of Hirafu is a vibrant mix of restaurants, bars, quality shopping, equipment stores and convenience stores. Accommodation is all on snow within the village where you can easily access the lifts via the free resort shuttle or step outside your door, for ski in ski out depending on the property. Ski schools and rental facilities are first class with the schools catering well for families and children, all English speaking programs.

Since DPT brought our first clients to Niseko in 1995 , we have seen it transform from a quaint rural village into what it is today, a vibrant international destination with more than 200 accommodation options from traditional Japanese Inns to five-star Resort Hotels, a booming shopping and dining scene and a plethora of exciting activities on and off the ski hill.
Niseko is separated into many accommodation zones. The main and most popular zone is Hirafu Village, other options are Niseko Village, Izumikyo, Kabayama and Annupuri. No matter where you are staying, the ski lifts can be access via the free village shuttle service. Taxi services are available for after hours. This modern day winter wonderland caters for everyone. Après activities include: local onsens, cat skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, fat bikes, cooking classes, heli skiing, karaoke, photography tours plus more.
In Niseko, the greater majority of hotels and restaurants will accept credit cards however there are a few local establishments that will only accept cash, especially on the mountain restaurants. It is advisable to take cash with you, as back up.
