Kawaichiya is a deluxe Ryokan conveniently located in the centre of Nozawa’s village. A variety of Japanese style Tatami rooms are available with a range of different bedding options. Shared bathroom facilities and ensuite rooms available. There are two varieties of in-house Onsen for guest use.

Non-SmokingThere are two very special sourses of Onsen at Kawaichiya,
called “Asagama”and “Shinyu”.
The first one is used for the indoor bath and the second for the outdoor bath.
Most rooms offer western style double, single or bunk beds. The loft area in the three bedroom includes two futons. The two bedroom apartments sleep 4-6. The three bedrooms sleep 6-8 guest.
Nozawa Central is close to everything. It is 300m from the slopes, the centre of town and a short walk to some great restaurants and pubs.
