Getting to Zao is easy with Deep Powder Tours Ski Holidays! We offer arrival and departure transfer options seven days a week. This includes transfers from Narita Airport and Sendai airport via JR rail passes, the Shinkasen (bullet train), bus services, or shared taxi transfers.
Yamagata and Sendai is on the Tohoku shinkansen (bullet train) line that departs from Tokyo and will only take a few hours to get to. Zao Onsen Ski Resort is located 40 minutes away from Yamagata Station or 90 min away from Sendai Station by bus.
You can also get to Yamagata Airport with Japan Airlines. It takes 90 minutes from Sendai Airport to Zao Onsen Ski Resort by bus.
