Train travel
There are a couple of options for travelling from Narita or Haneda in Tokyo to Nagano (the gateway to ski resorts: Hakuba, Nozawa, Shiga Kogen & Myoko Kogen). Train travel can be arranged via;
– JR Rail Passes
– Paid locally Shinkansen (bullet train) to and from Tokyo
A 1 hour transfer is available from Nagano to Nozawa Onsen. Alternatively, catch to the train on to Iiyama with a 25 minute bus transfer or taxi to Nozawa Onsen.
