Hotel La Neige

La Neige reopened on 1 August 2026 following a major renovation and renewal of its public spaces, dining, bar, design, and guest experience.
Set among the trees of Wadano, close to Happo-One and the heart of Hakuba, La Neige is a heritage alpine hotel with a warm, personal character. Michelin-starred Chef William Mahi now leads the hotel’s culinary direction. At Sève by William Mahi, guests can enjoy French fine dining shaped by Hakuba’s mountains and seasons, with ingredients from Shinshu, across Japan, and France. The newly opened Frank’s Bar offers cocktails, wine, and bar bites in a handsome setting inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. Renewed interiors and attentive service make the hotel a welcoming place to return to throughout the day. La Neige offers an easy base for skiing and evenings by the fire in winter, while the green season brings forest walks, mountain air, and a cooler escape from Japan’s cities.
Hotel La Neige combines classic alpine character refined dining and attentive hospitality to create a distinctive boutique hotel experience in Hakuba. There are also four log cabins, which are separate to the main building.

Following the renovation, guest rooms have been meticulously recreated to combine lush, warm and modern accents with large open style bathrooms. A Jacuzzi Bath overlooking the forest is available Deluxe Rooms and Junior Suite rooms.

Conveniently located at the base of Happo-One Ski Resort, La Neige hotel is approximately 5 minutes walk to the closest lifts at the Sakka ski area.
