Appi Mountain Guide

If you are searching for POWDER RUNS, get to the lifts early and pick these runs:

MT NISHIMORI - YAMAGARA RUN
It is known that the very best snow in APPI can be found in the middle of it, on this ungroomed run. Powder lovers, both skiers and snowboaders, will need to get to the lifts early to make the most of this run.

SECOND SAILER RUN A
After a big dump of snow, it's possible to go 2 km along this long ungroomed run. When the snow isn't falling, you can have just as much fun from the large or small natural moguls.

MT NISHIMORI - INUWASHI RUN
This is the first run to be groomed in the early hours of each morning. Any snow that falls after that will form a thin layer of powder on the surface making this "light powder run" perfect for powder beginners.

If you are searching for GROOMED RUNS, head to these runs:

HAYABUSA RUN
This is a popular run and it is worth getting there early for.

KAKKOU RUN, KITSUTSUKI RUN
This skiers only run (sorry snowboarders!!) is sheltered from the wind, the conditions are always good on these runs.

If you are looking for LONG RUNS head over to:

YAMABATO RUN 5.5KM
Popular with kids and families, even beginners can get on the gondola, get off at the summit, and try this long run.

SAILER LONG RUN 4KM
This is the second longest of the run at APPI. The steep upper half makes this an advance run. If you  can do this run non stop, you'll be feeling it at the end.
