Property Features

Enjoy warm Japanese hospitality in this traditional and cosy lodge. Akakura So offers traditional Japanese rooms which provide the warmth and comfort you need after a day on the slopes. Some rooms have a private bathroom, but most are without, and guests will use communal facilities. WiFi is only available in the lobby. Washing machine and dryers are available on a pay per use basis. The whole property is non-smoking. Breakfast is included.

Rooms

Japanese rooms’ distinctive characteristics are the tatami woven mat flooring, and low futon mattresses for sleeping. These can be folded away to give yourself more space to relax during the day. You will also notice the minimal decoration and natural colours used through the room, which makes for a relaxing space to unwind each day. The Japanese rooms have a private toilet in the room then guests can enjoy a wash and soak in the communal bathing facilities with a separate mens and womens facilities. The are a small number of Japanese rooms with ensuites, these rooms also have access to the shared facilities. WiFi is not available in the rooms.

Facilities

The natural onsen hot spring baths are divided into male and female baths, one soak in these healing waters and you’ll be hooked! A long bath is the perfect way to wrap up a day on the slopes.

Located in the Akakura Onsen Village & just 160m to the Kumado lift in Akakura Onsen Resort.
