Queenstown - New Zealand

Queenstown is located near the bottom of the South Island, 490 klms (approx 6 hours drive) from Christchurch. Queenstown is the heart of what has always been 'New Zealand’s premier ski region' where you can ski three great areas; Cardrona, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. Although it is 90 minutes drive from Queenstown, Treble Cone can also be accessed from Queenstown but it is much closer to Wanaka.

The town is large, busy and full of life, besides the skiing/boarding there is plenty to see and do, shop and eat, drink and party, and lots of adventure activities. Cobblestone pedestrian streets and lane ways filled with après, food and retail outlets, there is also a cinema in town. The mountains and lake are picturesque, the scenery is amazing and when the sun sets on the distant mountain peaks the colours are phenomenal.
