From Narita airport:
Narita is the international airport of Tokyo, there are several options for transfers to and from Nagano (the gateway to Nagano ski resorts: Hakuba, Nozawa, Shiga Kogen & Myoko Kogen).
Transfer options include:

• Paid locally Shinkansen (bullet train) to and from Tokyo
• Private transfers
• Shared taxi transfers
• Charter coach.

The Japan travel phone is a travel consultancy and interpretation service available anywhere within Japan (a local call may apply from some areas) for foreign tourists if they experience any communication problems due to language difficulties or when they need detailed information on domestic travel while visiting Japan.
This service has been available since 1982 by the Japan National Tourist Organisation (JNTO) in conjunction with major Japanese companies.
Services are available within the hours of 09:00 to 17:00 daily.
Exceptions: If calling from the Tokyo (03) area, please use 3201-3331 (this telephone number applies for Saturday afternoons, all day Sunday and on public holidays) or use 371-5469 if calling from Kyoto city (075) area.
