Wanaka accommodation

Wanaka is one of the two main accommodation centres in the Southern Lakes District and is surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain and lake scenery in New Zealand.

From Wanaka you can ski or board at Cardrona and Treble Cone.  Plus you can go to the Snow Farm for Nordic skiing or the Snow Park for the freestyle Terrain Park.  Wanaka is the main access point for some of the best heli-skiing in New Zealand.
